Bloomingdale's Debut's the Me-Ality Digital Sizing Station

The Me-Ality full-body scanner was created to help shoppers find their true sizes in brands across the board from mass to premium labels, taking some of the time and frustration out of the shopping equation. Bloomingdale’s is the first store to have specially designed, denim-centric versions of the Me-Ality body scanner installed in five of its locations, including 59th St. and Roosevelt Field Mall.

“This is a good example of technology merging with fashion,” said company spokeswoman Marissa Vitagliano. “Technology makes shopping seamless and more fun — it’s the wave of the future.”

In addition, shoppers receive a personalized shopping guide to help them decide their size and shape, as well as an online profile, which acts as a virtual fit advisor.

This is the first partnership for Me-Ality where its sizing stations have been rolled out to department stores.

"Me-Ality is taking its consumer offerings to the next level by synching our technology to recommend the expertly curated denim styles offered at Bloomingdale's," said Me-Ality CEO Tanya Shaw.
