Target Announces Peter Pilotto As Next Designer Collaboration
Target Partners With Net-a-Porter To Launch Their Next Collection With Peter Pilotto
The Phillip Lim for Target collection only just hit stores yesterday, but Target has already announced the next designer collaboration–and this time, it’s bringing in luxury heavyweight Net-a-Porter to launch the collection.
So who’s slated to follow Lim? British fashion darling Peter Pilotto, who is excited to bring his designs to mass market. “By working with Target, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience,” he said in a statement.
The line will reportedly include apparel, swimwear and accessories featuring “complex prints in a signature palette of blues, greens, warm reds and oranges.” The best part: Most items will clock in under $60, with nearly 70 items ranging in price from $14.99 to $79.99 for apparel and swimwear and $16.99 to $39.99 for accessories.
This time around, Target has tapped Net-a-Porter to take the collection international. It last tried working with a high-end retailer for its 2012 Holiday collection sold through Neiman Marcus; hopefully the Net-a-Porter partnership will be more successful.
Peter Pilotto for Target officially launches February 9–so you’ve still got plenty of time to get your credit card balance in check.
